What do people say about Loly n Stick?

 

Loly N Stick………fun and unique.  The best part of the show is watching the reaction of the audience.  In our case, we were at the airport…..it reminds me of scene from one of those hidden camera shows.  It’s all in good fun as Loly N Stick choose someone to “play with” innocently seated in the boarding area.  The “victim” has no idea what’s going on, while all around the boarding area the other passengers are having good laughs. 

Unpredictable as to what they will do next, time passes quickly while waiting for one’s flight as this duo does their thing. 

As to anyone thinking of hiring this duo……………….easy set-up, very little equipment.  Very easy to work with.  Great attitude and lots of fun.  In fact, after seeing their show at the gate area of the airport, we are planning additional corporate events including a surprise visit to our corporate headquarters.

It was our honor to have Loly n Stick perform at our 2007 AFAN Kids’ Holiday Party, held on December 20^th. This year we were fortunate to have over 200 kids partake in this event, doubling the number of kids from previous years. Loly n Stick’s presence added an unparalleled element to the Holiday party by exposing the kids to a comic, thespian experience. Loly n Stick has provided us with the opportunity to foster an artistic component in these children’s lives, which they would not otherwise encounter. 

As an agency, we feel fortunate to have the support of such talented people. They were extremely accommodating to work with, as they provided all of their own materials and were able to work with in the space we had available. Loly n Stick came to Blue Man Group’s children’s holiday party in December and we couldn’t have been more pleased!  The kids were entranced, and even though Loly n Stick were doing the kid-friendly version of the show, the adults were charmed and laughing also.  It was a big hit, and we will definitely invite them back next year.  As an added bonus the show was a breeze to fold into the rest of the event.  The performers were flexible about how much space they needed to work in, and the tech aspect of the show was delightfully simple, yet effective.   All-in-all it was an exceptionally successful event!

Loly N Stick is a world class talent. They workshop and rehearse their acts, on their own time, before presenting it. When they’ve come to rehearsals for the Wayward Ways shows they already know what they are doing and run through it for the benefit of my technicians to get the lighting and sound cues right. At performance they are tight and polished crowd pleasers. They already have a local fan base.

Behind the make-up, Chad and Julia are professional performers who are hard on themselves and easy going with others. They’ve worked very hard on their craft and it shows in every facial expression and movement. They’ve always been kind and helpful to other performers in the show.
